GENERAL OBJECTIVE –

  1. To enable the students, listen, speak and write English correctly with understanding.
  2. To develop comprehensive ability of students.
  3.  To enrich active and passive voice.
  4.  To develop interest of English for English literature.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE –

  1.   Students will understand importance of festivals.
  2.   Students will know about the lesson of festivals.
  3.   Students will know history of festivals.

TEACHING LEARNING MATERIAL –
                                                          Chalk, Duster, Pointer etc. and some chart paper related to the topic.

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE –
                                       Students should have little knowledge about festivals.

INTRODUCTION –
                                    The teacher will have introduced the lesson by putting question based on previous knowledge of the student.

                             Students, today we will learn study about “Our Festivals”.

PRESENTATION –

Model Reading
Pupil teacher activity- The teacher will read the objective with proper stress and intonation.
Student activity- The students will listen with interest and follow in their books.

Pronunciation of Words -
Pupil teacher activity-  The pupil teacher writes some difficult words at the blackboard and asks the students to pronounce.
Prayer, Celebrated, Happy, crowd
Student activity- Students pronounce the words after the teacher.

Imitation Reading –
Pupil teacher activity-  The teacher will correct mistakes of pronunciation when the students have read.
Student Activity- A few students will read aloud the passage one by one and other will follow in their book.

Exposition of Words-
Pupil teacher activity-  The pupil teacher exposes some new word by blackboard.

Student Activity- Students carefully listen and look at the blackboard.

Silent Reading-
Pupil teacher activity-  The pupil teacher will ask students to read the passage silently.

Pupil teacher activity-  The pupil teacher ask some question related to the topic.
              Qn. Tell me some festival name?
Student activity- The students will give answer.
             Ans. Holi, Diwali, Eid-ul-fitr.

Home assignment -
Pupil teacher activity-  The pupil teacher asks the students the memories word meaning and question answer at home.
      Qn. What are our important festivals?
      Qn. How do children enjoy Diwali?
 Student activity- Students to do as directed.
